Heartbeat was tasked with retaining the look and feel of M&S’ new home design concepts, using materials that complemented the existing M&S range. Heartbeat value engineered where possible, manufacturing over 8000 pieces of furniture across a range of 14 UPC’s, within a 3-month timescale. Heartbeat produced a design-led range of furniture that met the needs for merchandising the new range. Heartbeat was committed to producing products with a strong life-cycle of 5 years, future proofing the design to allow for adaption for merchandising for all seasons. Designed as flat-pack options to reduce transportation, items were distributed with a simple step by step assembly guide.
