Our work with Asda has continued this year with the opening of their first in-store beauty bar. The new initiative was introduced to boost Asda’s health and beauty sales, but also allows busy customers the opportunity to combine their weekly shop with a little “me time”.
Following receipt of the initial brief from Asda, a simple material and colour guide, Heartbeat designed and developed the entire beauty bar concept. From outer shell materials to flooring, stools and threading chairs, counters with built-in sinks and hot water systems, and LED lit glass shelving cabinets. Customer and staff accessibility, privacy and working conditions, as well as overall aesthetics were all considered, allowing Heartbeat to deliver a completed project that satisfied the demands of Asda’s busy supermarket environment.
